RISING HEARTS YOGA STUDIO AT MARGARET AUSTIN RETREAT CENTER

We are excited to announce our next weekend Retreat which will take place at Margaret Austin Center in Chappell Hill, Texas on October 8-10, 2010! 

The Margaret Austin Center is a rural retreat center established to provide a quiet and inexpensive setting for retreats and meetings in the rolling hills outside Chappell Hill, Texas. Originally the vacation home of Margaret Austin, the Center has welcomed retreat groups for almost 20 years. Margaret passed away in 1992. Beginning in 1993, the Center has been operated as a non-profit organization. Their goal remains the same: to provide hospitality to people from every walk of life and to give all guests the opportunity to explore their chosen path, to experience the open countryside, and to relax and renew their spirits. This is Margaret’s legacy.

Our weekend will have a wonderful flow to it.  We will have morning and evening yoga and meditation sessions, plenty of time to relax and reconnect with nature from the center's beautiful six acres of landscaped grounds and enjoy delicious health conscience meals from one of the best retreat cooks in the country!  We will be the only group in residence at the Center that weekend!  Students of all levels are welcomed to join this retreat!

To get to the Margaret Austin Center from Spring, TX take 290 West.  Your first landmark is the Brazos River. Then you will see a large white stone sign saying "Welcome to Washington County."  Take the second turn-in at the top of the hill that says “Trackside Road”.  On Trackside Road, go 1.6 miles to the gate of the Margaret Austin Center.  The Center is located approximately 46 miles from Spring, TX. The drive time is approximately 55 minutes.
